I am so excited to capture Hannah & Greg’s Bodega Bay wedding this weekend! After their first date over Thai food, she instantly knew that he would always make her laugh & bring playful love into her life. We chose to photograph their engagement session at UC Davis, where Greg is an academic advisor and Hannah is an educator!

I connected with Hannah and Greg from two mutual friends, who are both teachers as well. Education has always been very important to me and I love that these lovebirds range in educating from children to higher education.

Greg proposed to Hannah with a surprise trip to Bodega Bay (where they had gone on their first day trip together); under the guise of an end of summer getaway, on a hike to the beach. Hannah had no idea - when Greg got down on one knee she actually bent down as well before he said “No!! Get up, let me do this” with a smile.

With Bodega Bay being so special to them, it’s no wonder that they found the perfect venue there, at The Secret Garden. Their lush, garden wedding is going to be stunning!

While they are both explorer’s of nature, Greg’s only condition for their venue was that it had redwoods. I am so excited to capture their portraits amongst the beautiful California landscape!
